Who are we?
Clarity& is an aviation consulting and workplace mental health & wellbeing company, focussing exclusively on the aviation industry in the UK. Our business was founded in 2021 by Andy & Kirsty Dobson, who previously worked in UK & global aviation sector leadership roles, and NHS leadership roles respectively.
Our core mission
Our core mission at Clarity& is to work as supportively and transparently with our clients as possible in this new post-Pandemic world, to bring clarity where this is currently lacking on issues of key importance, and to support them by providing the most relevant and useful insights into their business, whilst working closely together in partnership.
Our aviation expertise
Our main expertise and experience at Clarity& is in airline and airport ground operations, and specifically in ground handling itself. This is an area in which Andy and the Clarity& team have several decades of experience each, often having worked “on both sides of the table” when it comes to airline, airport and supplier business and operations. We have all personally carried out many of the roles in ground handling from check-in and aircraft cleaning right up to Board level roles for such companies. This enables us to work more effectively and deliver results more quickly when engaging with the wider community, being subject matter experts on all things related to ground operations, and focussing primarily on our core expertise at all times.
Our aviation experience
Clarity&’s aviation consulting division is led by Andy Dobson. Andy has over 30 years’ experience in the industry, both as a senior leader and a management consultant, split almost precisely 50/50 between an airline and ground handling career, and a subsequent management consulting career within the aviation industry. Andy has worked in executive and leadership roles at British Airways, easyJet, Wizz Air, PA Consulting and ICF Consulting, whilst owning and running his own independent consulting business, Aviate Consulting, for 6 years from 2009 to 2015.
Andy and Clarity& have been fortunate to include Heathrow Airport Ltd., Swissport, International Airlines Group and British Airways amongst our clients since 2022, having successfully delivered several major ground operations-related projects during that time.
